Laifen’s Swift 4 pairs a 115,000 RPM motor with a nozzle that mists essential oil during drying. The intriguing question is whether that second function can justify its premium price.
Motor speed has defined Laifen’s dryers for years. The Swift 4 keeps that identity but adds a promise: handling some conditioning work left to a separate hair oil or serum.
That changes the buying question. Fast airflow is easy to compare; a dryer claiming to nourish hair while saving time asks us to judge both engineering and beauty results.
The Nourishing Nozzle
Laifen calls the attachment its Nourishing Nozzle. It atomizes oil and releases the mist at a steady 58°C while the dryer runs. Sending the treatment through the airflow could, in theory, spread it more uniformly than rubbing a few drops through hair before or after drying.
The dryer also has a dual-ion system rated at 400 million negative and 70 million positive ions. Laifen links the combination to less static and a healthier scalp micro-environment. The figures sound impressive, but they cannot show whether the nozzle replaces a familiar finishing product.
That claim needs comparison. Dry similar sections with the nozzle and a normal oil routine, then check softness, shine, residue and next-day feel. Until then, the integrated mist remains promising rather than proven.

Speed matters, but consistent temperature may be the more important feature for people worried that a quicker result could come with long-term damage.

Promotional terms can change, but they soften the initial cost without changing the product’s core value test.
The company does bring experience to the claim. Laifen cites a top ranking among high-speed dryer brands from Euromonitor, more than 600 patents and distribution across over 60 countries. That record suggests manufacturing maturity, though it cannot confirm that the Nourishing Nozzle will perform like a dedicated serum.
Fast drying alone is no longer enough to distinguish every $200 dryer. The Swift 4 adds thoughtful control, low weight, quieter operation and unusually convenient maintenance. Its oil-misting attachment is the feature that could make the package special—and the part that most deserves testing outside a specification sheet.
For buyers who already value Laifen’s speed, the extra function makes this an appealing upgrade. For everyone else, the decision rests on whether integrated hair care proves to be a real step forward or simply a clever reason to add one more nozzle.
